About the speaker: Stanley Fischer is the former vice chairman of the Federal Reserve and served as Governor of the Bank of Israel, First Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund and chief economist at the World Bank. While Professor of Economics at MIT, Dr. Fischer served as thesis advisor to Ben Bernanke, Chair of the Federal Reserve, and Mario Draghi, President of the European Central Bank.
