Change in Percent
When a department is temporarily or permanently increasing or decreasing an Academic Administrator and/or Academic Coordinator’s Appointment percentage, a dossier must be submitted via Interfolio (for Dean’s endorsement / Vice Chancellor final approval).
- Minimum Appointment percentage for an Academic Coordinator is 50%.
- If/when a temporary Appointment percent reverts back to the original percentage, a new dossier must be submitted via Interfolio. Â (Follow the instructions above.)
Dossier must be submitted to the Dean’s Office at least 2 months prior to the effective date.
Opus/Interfolio
All cases must be initiated, processed and completed in OPUS/Interfolio.
Submit the following to the College AP Office:
1. Email PDF copy of dossier to Researcher Analyst. Departments must be sure to keep a copy of every academic personnel action, and to prepare that copy prior to submitting the action in Interfolio.
2. Revised Renewal with current history record (attached as one PDF)

- Department Letter should reflect new percentage, justification, and explain adjusted duties.

Routing and Approval
The Academic Researcher Analyst will review the case and forward it to the Dean for review/recommendation. The case will be forwarded to Campus APO for approval by the Vice Chancellor. When the necessary approval(s) have been obtained, the Academic Researcher Analyst will follow internal protocol and notify the department.
