Do you want a PhD? Fantasized about becoming a college professor? Then this program may be for you.

The UCLA McNair Program seeks a few good scholars who dare to transform the academy through vigorous research. Advanced students in the humanities and social sciences are invited to apply to this competitive two-year program. McNair Scholars receive mentorship, research stipends, graduate school preparation, and they also present their research at local and national conferences.

The UCLA McNair Research Scholars Program consists of only 22 students each year. We especially encourage transfer students to apply.

Completed applications for the 2005 Program will be due on November 18th.
