How To Accept Your 2013 PBK Nomination
Students in the College of Letters & Science:
- Log on to your MyUCLA account and click on the "Commencement" link. Only selected students will have a Phi Beta Kappa "Membership" option available.
- To formally accept your Phi Beta Kappa nomination, click on the "Membership" link to order your Phi Beta Kappa Membership. This one-time membership fee of $80 is billed to your BAR account.
- Membership is available until Friday, June 7th. If you would like to accept your nomination after the deadline, please contact the PBK Coordinator at 310-825-1615.
Students in the schools of Arts & Architecture, Theater Film & television, Nursing, Engineering and Junior Elects:
- Students outside of Letters & Science will have limited online access to the Commencement page of MyUCLA.
- To formally accept your nomination, please bring your Bruin Card to the Honors Programs office (Murphy Hall A-311) and submit a check for your one-time membership fee for $80 (payable to “Eta of California, UCLA PBK”) to the PBK Coordinator by Friday, June 7th. If you would like to accept your nomination after the deadline, please contact the PBK Coordinator at 310-825-1615.
How To RSVP For The Initiation Ceremony
Students in the College of Letters & Science:
You do not need a ticket, but you must confirm your attendance through the Commencement link via MyUCLA. You must RSVP by Friday, June 7, 2013.
- On the “Commencement” Link on MyUCLA, you can RSVP for the ceremony by “ordering” a student ticket and maximum 3 guest tickets. Remember the ceremony is a TICKETLESS EVENT and no physical tickets will be printed. Your name will be added to the RSVP list after completing your ticket order.
- Contact the PBK Coordinator who will add your name to the Student RSVP List and will reserve your maximum 3 guest seats.
Students in the schools of Arts & Architecture, Theater Film & Television, Bursing, Engineering and Junior Elects
Students Not Attending The Ceremony
- Be sure to order your Phi Beta Kappa Membership and Mailing Fee (billed to your BAR account) through MyUCLA ("commencement" link) by Friday, June 7th.
- If you would like to pick-up your new membership packet, they will be available beginning Monday, June 17th, 2013 in the Honors Programs office, A-311 Murphy Hall.
- We keep your packets in the Honors Programs office for at least a year but please try to pick it up in a timely manner.
- If you change your mind after the June 7th RSVP deadline and want to attend the Initiation Ceremony:
