Audio Visual Services – Main Campus

For classes on main campus all AV requests must be sent to Louisa McHugh via email (she is in our office) lmchugh@college.ucla.edu  Louisa needs to fax the request to Campus Audio Visual Services so the requests cannot be done last minute, we need at least 2 business days.

To process a request, Louisa must have the following information from the seminar leader:

  • Seminar leader Name
  • Cluster Name and seminar number
  • Date and Time class meets
  • Building and Room Class meets
  • Equipment requested
  • Dates Equipment is needed

Seminar leaders will receive an email confirmation from Campus AVS. It is vital that the Seminar leader follow up with Louisa directly if they have not received the confirmation. Louisa will follow up with AVS.

Some caveats regarding Campus Audio Visual Services:
Audio Visual Services does not issue laptops. Seminar leaders need to either provide their own or, if they are graduate students or theirs, go to the CLICC Lab http://www.clicc.ucla.edu/

Audio Visual Services charges for delivery, so our policy is that all items must be picked up and returned by the seminar leader. If a situation comes up where delivery is necessary, our office will be reimbursed through the S&E funds allocated to that cluster.
