March 11, 2002 Announcing Fiat Lux Seminars A new program to enrich undergraduate education at UCLA In the dark days after September 11, UCLA's College of Letters and Science used the university's curriculum to cast light on the causes and implications of the attacks on our country. Now, in keeping with the ideal expressed by our university's motto, Let There Be Light, each year UCLA will offer a permanent program of one-unit seminars to illuminate the many paths of discovery explored by UCLA faculty. |
