Eligibility
You are automatically eligible to participate in 2013 College Commencement if you: Have graduated Fall 2012 or Winter 2013, OR Have completed 148 units by the end of Winter 2013, AND are declared to graduate Spring 2013 or Summer 2013. If you do not meet the above eligibility criteria but wish to be included in the 2013 College Commencement, you have to file a Special Inclusion Petition (SIP) as follows: Students – with 148 units completed by end of Winter 2013 and declared to graduate Fall 2013 – file an online SIP through MyUCLA. Students – with LESS than 148 units completed by the end of Winter 2013 and declared to graduate Spring, Summer or Fall 2013 – file a paper SIP, which is available in your major department and in your College counseling unit. Beginning Monday, April 1, online or paper SIPs (as specified above) can be filed.

Planning Checklist
	College Honors – Declare your degree candidacy using the College Honors Candidacy form	by Friday, April 5
	Latin Honors – Check the eligibility requirements on the Registrar web page.
	Check URSA online to declare/confirm your degree candidacy Check the spelling of your name for the Commencement Program. If incorrect, file a name change form. Review your privacy restrictions to be certain that your name will be listed in the Commencement program.	by Friday, May 10
	Last day to file a Special Inclusion Petition (SIP) and have your name appear in the Commencement program After Friday, May 10, you still can file a SIP and, if it is approved, participate in Commencement events, but your name will not be included in the College Commencement program. Tickets can be ordered online at MyUCLA through Tuesday, May 14. After this date, please send a request for guest tickets to commencement@college.ucla.edu.	by Friday, May 10

	Order your copy of the BruinLife Yearbook – either online or in person at 118 Kerckhoff Hall Orders placed on or before Sunday, June 16, the cost is $85; after Sunday, June 16, the cost is $99. Yearbooks will be available for pick up Mid-August. Questions? E-mail them to bruinlife@media.ucla.edu.
